Who we are

A family gym, not a fight factory.

Midgard is family owned and operated. We built it to be the kind of place you'd want your own kids training: welcoming, structured, and serious about safety.

Some people come to get in shape, some come to compete, some just want to know they can handle themselves. Everyone gets coached.

  • Safety is rule oneControlled training, taps respected, partners matched by size and experience.
  • Built for familiesKids, teens, and parents can all train under one roof.
  • Real progressFundamentals first, then the details that make technique work against resistance.

Is the free week really free?
Yes. Seven days, no cost, no commitment. Sign up online and come to any class that fits your schedule.
Do I need any experience?
No. Most of our members started with zero. Beginners learn the fundamentals first and get paired with partners who'll take care of them.
How young can kids start?
Age 6. Kids 6–13 train in the youth class and 14–15 year olds train in the teen class.
Is it safe?
Safety is our number one rule. Training is controlled, partners are matched by size and experience, and every tap is respected immediately.
What do I wear the first time?
Comfortable athletic clothes without zippers or pockets, and bring water. We'll talk about uniforms once you decide to join.
Can I watch my kid's class?
Yes. There's bench seating by the front windows with a full view of the mat.
What does it cost after the free week?
Adults start at $119 a month and kids at $100, with discounts for siblings and families. Every plan covers Gi and No-Gi. See all pricing.
